The obtaining of the real estate agent ‘s card is subject to conditions of professional aptitude defined in articles 11 and following of the decree of application of the law .

The professional real estate agent card can only be issued to a company if all legal and statutory representatives satisfy the condition of professional competence.

Diploma requirement

• In accordance with Article 11 of the Decree of 20 July 1972, the condition of professional competence is fulfilled if you hold one of the following degrees:
• degree awarded by the State or on behalf of the State of a level equal to or higher than 3 years of higher education after the baccalaureate AND sanctioning legal, economic or commercial studies 
• A diploma or designation registered in the National Register of Professional Qualifications (RNCP) of an equivalent level (Level II) AND sanctioning legal, economic or commercial studies 

Senior Technician Certificate (BTS) “Real Estate Profession”

 Degree and professional experience requirement

Pursuant to Article 12 of the Decree of 20 July 1972, the condition of professional competence is also fulfilled if:

You hold a bachelor’s degree OR a diploma or degree in the National Professional Certification Directory (RNCP) of an equivalent level (Level IV) and for legal, economic or commercial studies and that you have worked for at least 3 years, on a full-time basis (or of an equivalent duration in the case of part-time work), a subordinate job related to the activity for which the mention is requested.

Subordinate employment consists of paid employment subject to the statutory duration of working time, the payment of unemployment insurance contributions and the acquisition of paid leave. Professional experience acquired as a sales representative is expressly excluded.

For the constitution of your file, it is necessary to provide a copy of your certified diploma to the original by your care and a copy of the payslips.

Condition of professional experience

The condition of aptitude is also fulfilled if you do not have the required diplomas but you have professional experience related to real estate transactions relating to the property of others.

For a non-managerial job

You must have worked for at least 10 years, on a full-time basis, on a subordinate job related to the activity for which the mention is requested.

For a job frame

You must have worked for at least 4 years, on a full-time basis (or of an equivalent duration in the case of a part-time exercise), a subordinate job as an executive for the activity for which the mention is requested.

For the constitution of your file, it is necessary to provide a copy of all payslips and a certificate of the retirement fund of the executives justifying the affiliation for the periods and the activities mentioned above.
